Hello, I'm Yecats!

     I decided to start this blog because a friend of mine said she was starting one and that I should give it a try. I've also always wanted to do something like this, but didn't know how to start. Years ago, I decided the way to do that would be a YouTube channel. I did that for a while, but it wasn't really my thing. I'm not super talkative, so my videos were, I'll admit, quite boring.

     Since I do genuinely enjoy writing, I thought maybe this would work better. I figured it could also be a way to get myself to write more often and become more comfortable doing so. My posts will be mostly about school and books that I read, since that is most of what I do, but I'd like to occasionally sprinkle in some posts about some video games, board games, and Wordle.

     I hope that with this blog I can bring entertainment to whoever reads it, bring enjoyment to myself, and grow my writing skills. If you want to learn more about writing, I'd recommend checking out my friend's blog.
